How does the fragrance develop over time?
Molasses, sugarcane and a light alcoholic undertone: these are the warm notes of an aged rum that speaks of tranquility and a life well-lived. Sweet hints of peach and nectarine and creamy coconut nuances enrich the head of the composition with delicately fruity tones.
In the body of the fragrance, the rum notes are embellished with woody nuances, such as the oak from the barrels in which it was aged, and are accompanied by rounded touches of a cognac with a dry fruit and sweet spice aftertaste. The tobacco notes of a cigar characterize the heart of the fragrance with soft and aromatic tones.
As the tobacco notes are enriched with hints of honey and vanilla, touches of cedarwood and guaiac wood lend the final part of the composition a rich, full-bodied persistence.

How to use our diffusers
Activate the essence
Remove the seal and insert the rattan reeds into the bottle. The fragrance will slowly begin to travel up through the natural fibers of the wood.
Awaken the fragrance
Let the sticks rest for a few hours. The fragrance needs time to saturate the wood and begin releasing its scent into the air.
Refresh the atmosphere
To maintain the vibrant intensity, turn the reeds over once or twice a day. This refreshes the fragrance throughout the room.
Frequently asked questions about our air fresheners
A reed diffuser releases fragrance through natural evaporation, without a flame or electricity. The rattan reeds absorb the scented liquid from the bottle and slowly release it into the air through their internal channels. The more reeds you insert, the stronger and faster the fragrance will diffuse throughout the room.
How long it lasts depends on the bottle size and the size of the room. In an average-sized room, a 100 ml diffuser will scent the space for several weeks, while the larger sizes (500 ml, 1000 ml, 2500 ml) are designed for spacious areas and longer-lasting fragrance. Factors such as temperature, ventilation, and the number of reeds affect how quickly it is used up: the warmer and better ventilated the room, the faster it evaporates.
You can adjust the intensity by changing the number of reeds in the bottle. A few reeds are enough for a subtle fragrance; for a larger space or a stronger scent, add more. To refresh the fragrance, flip the reeds once or twice a week, dipping the saturated ends into the liquid.
Over time, the reeds become saturated and release less fragrance. To solve this, turn them over to reactivate the scent, or replace them by purchasing new natural rattan reeds when they are completely saturated. If the liquid in the bottle has run out, it’s time to use a refill: new reeds with a refill bring the fragrance back to its original intensity.

The right size depends on the space: smaller formats are ideal for bathrooms and bedrooms, while larger ones are best for open-plan and spacious rooms. Since they’re flame-free, they’re also safe in busy spaces and around people with sensitivities.

Keep the bottle away from heat sources and direct sunlight, which can alter the fragrance and speed up evaporation. Place it on a stable, protected surface, as the liquid may stain wood and fabrics. Once used, dispose of the glass in the glass recycling bin and the used reeds in general waste, unless your local council advises otherwise.
